I think this is to do with the fact that I have a customized wordpress template on my wordpress site ('grand college' by goodlayers). I think there's something it does that gets in the way of these two plugins, and doesn't let them work properly.

Hi, I have the latest wordpress installation.

With the Shopp plugin, I asked their customer service to have a look at the Shopp problem, and they said this:

"I have found the issue.

The problem is within the page.php file. There are lots of conditional/IF statements which are possibly not evaluating as true for Shopp pages, therefor 'the_content()' is never executed and content is not shown.

If you were to duplicate page.php and rename it to shopp.php, you could remove all of the extra php code and have a simplified file with a call to 'the_content()' for just Shopp pages.

I found this issue by inserting 'the_content()' at the top of page.php, outside of the conditional statements."

But I don't really understand this, or how to fix it.

I also can't work out if this is a separate issue to the forums problem?

Hi Simon! I can't seem to login to your ftp server. I realized I need to check the directory structure and files for shopp so I can trace how to display the output on your site. Please give me the correct ftp username and password. Thanks! I will be waiting for your response.

Hi Simon! I guess I don't need the ftp details. I modified the code on shopp.php file and the catalog started to display. You might just have to add product images for the items to look good. I hope I was able to help you.
