What bank do you bank with?
Are you trying to download within Quicken or from your bank and then import into Quicken ?
I go to the download section on my on line banking area and there I can select the month I want (I am a little behind) and it has a down load button. Then I go to my (our) checking in Quicken and do not know how to get it down loaded. NB
To download from your financial institution's Web site using Web Connect:
Visit your financial institution's Web site.
Navigate to the Quicken download section of the financial institution's Web site.
Select the Web Connect .QFX file format.
Select the Download to Quicken button or a link.
To download directly from within Quicken (One Step Update) using Direct Connect:
Select the Online menu and select Online Account Services Setup.
Follow the on-screen download instructions.
If your bank does not offer a web connect or one step update. You will need to download the file. I would save it in a location that you can easily locate it. On a Mac, I would save it to the Desktop.
Go to "File," and then "Import" to get the downloaded statements into Quicken. If you don't do this, the bank statements will remain in your hard drive, but won't show up when you open Quicken to work on them.
Check that you have the right information. The file should be complete, with no missing text. It should include the total monthly balance.
Choose the name of the file you want to upload into Quicken, and then click "Save."
Where do I find the online account services setup?
Online Account Services Setup is for if your bank does direct downloads into Quicken.
Activate an Existing Quicken Account for Online Access
Create a New Quicken Account for Online Access

I did not get my question answered. On a Mac using Quicken, how do I download my bank statements into my checking account in Quicken. I need step by step instructions and maybe you could use 123rescue or something like it. Naomi Brewer
