I have 2005 f250 with the 6'0 it is surging goingup hills or under a load it doesn't do it all the time and run great some days it is also coughing or backfiring they are both getting worse but no codes show up I have replaced the egr valve and thought I fixed it ran like a dream two weeks later im heading to the west coat to pickup a 69 chevy and it is running worse than ever serviced it and seems to have no change maybe even worse surges under steady throttle and coughs several times in a row runs great some times lol

Here's what I have tried so far:
egr valve,fuel filters,priced fuel pumps(holy cow)

I have just started a 3500 mile trip my ford is getting worse sound sick as hell mckey ford in rapid city south Dakota were I bought it tells me nothing is wrong so I said ok nothing is wrong then how much on a trade in this was one week after I bought it and they would only give me 10000 on a trade in they wanted me to eat almost 5000 dollars in a week needless to say I still have it and some nasty things to say about them anyway on my way to Washington starting to wonder if I should turn around ,but that's not me,so here we go I have driven a lot of pickups in the last 2 months and I love my ford lariat its bad ass more power than anything I have driven lots of room in the cab looks cool and poles anything I have thrown at her save my ford
