i have replaced the switch on my dc07 dyson and it only worked when i held the on switch down it keeps turning off when i take my finger off the switch . by the way trying to get the switch plate off to fix it was harder to do than illistatu.ed on the vidio.can you tell me what the problem is?

Here's what I have tried so far:
i have checked all the fiters to make sure they were not clogged and the connections were tight. took off the cover for the switch and replaced it . put the cover back on which was a bear to put back on. turned the machine on and it promptley turned off.

sorry i was having problems with my computer . how do you know what i bought? i just received it from vacumstore there was no spring in the package nor was there one in the vacum swith when i took it apart
