phone/remote notes:

  • called customer
  • remotely accessed computer
  • uninstalled and reinstalled dropbox
  • dropbox not connecting to their network/the app itself
  • check network settings on computer/all are fine
  • checked firewall to see if dropbox was being blocked/was not
  • dropbox error message keeps saying check network settings which i did/all are fine
  • able to browse the web and check email just fine
  • tried all troubleshooting steps that I could think of
  • advised customer I would try to get him to a higher level expert s soon as possible
