Hi Bessley,

This is a common problem to this unit. You need a new door locking mechanism, Check also if the latch is snug. To find out, turn washer on like you are going to do a load and apply pressure to the door and see if it will lock. If not, then you need to change the door locking mechanisim,

The locking mechanism isn't the trouble.  THe sensing light won't turn off so that the washer will begin it's cycle.

I have unplugged it, and I have held the button in for 3 seconds to cancel it, and start again.

The sensing light is on because of the door locking mechanism. Have you tried the proceudre that I provided to you.
