f the light on your Uniden DECT 6.0 cordless phone is flashing and you're not sure why, here are a few possible explanations and troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. New message or voicemail: The flashing light could indicate that you have a new message or voicemail waiting. Check your voicemail box or answering machine to see if there are any new messages. Follow the instructions provided with your phone to listen to or delete the messages.

  2. Missed call indicator: The flashing light might be indicating that you have missed a call. Check the missed call log on your phone and return any missed calls that you wish to follow up on.

  3. Low battery warning: If the battery in your cordless phone is running low, the light may flash as a warning. Place the handset on the charging base for a while to allow it to recharge. Make sure the charging contacts on the phone and base are clean and properly aligned.

  4. Interference or signal issues: Sometimes, interference or signal problems can cause unusual behavior in cordless phones. Try moving the base unit and handset closer together to improve the signal strength. Additionally, keep the base unit away from other electronic devices that might cause interference, such as Wi-Fi routers or microwave ovens.

  5. Check the manual: Refer to the user manual or documentation that came with your Uniden phone. It should provide specific information about the meaning of the flashing light and troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.

"Hi, I searched the Internet in a few places and tried some suggestions, but none of these (below) work to turn off the flashing head on my Uniden Loud&Clear DECT 6.0 cordless phone. I cleared the CID list and the message bank was already empty -

 #43# doesn't work!
 #99# doesn't work!
*370# doesn't work!

Select "Menu>Global Settings> select VMWI reset"
VMWI is not showing! All I see is "Global Setup" > "Set Line Mode" or "Insert 0".

This is a private residence, which doesn't require a digit for an outside line. My phone has a Voicemail connection through my wireless modem.

I applied for an answer online, but didn't want to wait for a few hours with my computer connected to your service.

I think I had my first "call waiting" after restarting the modem with Voicemail on it. During consultation, my server's support team suggested restarting after checking the modem's settings, but I forgot that I should have used a mobile phone for service, not Voicemail through the modem."
