First of all if you already visit http://developer.android.com/index.html, you may have downloaded android SDK and install eclipse(or any other IDE fo java developing, Intellij IDEA fro example) Then you can explore origanl site to find some good examples and tutorials, like: 1.http://developer.android.com/resources/tutorials/hello-world.html 2. http://developer.android.com/resources/samples/index.html 3. http://developer.android.com/resources/articles/index.html

Then you feel that it's not enough for you you may go further: 4. http://developer.android.com/resources/community-groups.html Stackoverflow is most helpfull site for everyone who would like to code simple apps. Most of your questions is alredy answered there :) Or linked to other forums and blogs like:
