F7 indicates a microcomputer board failure, and the microcomputer board will need to be replaced.  If it is under warranty, please contact the store where you bought it from to arrange repair if they provide that OR go to http://www.whirlpool.com/owners/ and clicking on Schedule Repair to schedule an appointment. Otherwise, you will need to contact a reputable applicance vendor or repairman to handle that.

  •  Unplug microwave oven or disconnect power
  • After 40 seconds, check to see whether this solves the problem

This error could be Power to magnetron interrupted

If error code is displayed possibilites could be as followed:

  • cooling fan
  • magnetron
  • P2 connection on control
  • interlock switches
  • wiring to inverter

If so a service tech will be needed for repair.
