2008 gmc 3500 cutaway .vehicle # 1GDHG31K481202390 [could be the G area 6 ] issue : while having lunch i generally turn key on then off and i have 10 minutes of radio time .yesterday i only had about 6 min .i redid the procedure ,this time a ding ding bell went for a bit and radio lasted only 2 min .soon radio would not come on .the ding-ding bell would not stop unless key was removed and now dome light will not go off .

so -i take it what i originally wrote you do not get ? so will repeat .2008 gmc 3500 cutaway van . yesterday while having lunch i clicked the key on and off and played the radio .it generally stays on around 10 min .this time it was maybe 5 min .i proceded to click the key on and off again .the ding ding bell came on a for few chimes and the radio may of stayed on for a minute . soon radio was not coming on and the ding ding chime would not go off unless key was removed .the dome light then would not go off .

First thing I got this message ran out there and pulled neg lead from battery . let it hang loose 5 min then reinstalled . at first dome light was off . turned key off and attempted to play radio .ding ding alarm started . dome light came on . same issue ,no change .

3 hrs later -i go back up to the truck and everything is now working .does this make any sense ,seem normal . So right now it seems issue is fixed .
