Hello Al

How are you doing? May I ask if there's any history of ECU repair on the boat? There are other things that can cause this issue as well.

-Cannon plug connector loose/improperly connected
-ECU connector or locking ring loose/damaged/improperly connected
-TRIGGER wiring harness that's internally damaged (becomes intermittent when trigger moves)
-Injector wiring harness problems, or failing/flooding injectors
-ECU injector drivers coming loose from board inside ECU.

These are the things that needs to be looked at Al. You may want to include the stator and voltage regulator in the inspection as well. The stator may have burnt windings.  Check the voltage regulators for any burn as well including the connectors. Hope this helps Al. I'll be standing by for your response.
