Hello Robert

How are you doing? Do you have a carb cleaner at the moment? I strongly suggest that you spray some carb cleaners on the jettings and on the butterfly itself. It can be full of dirt that's why it's failing on high speed gears. I'll be standing by for your response.

Thank you

Thanks for your response Robert. Try spraying carb cleaner in the throttle body to loosen up the dirt and change the spark plugs as well for better fuel burning. Fuel flooding can be a cause of this issue. If you have access to the vehicle at the moment please try to remove the negative battery connector and let it sit for 5 minutes or more before reconnecting it. Let's see if the reset will help as well. I'll be standing by for your response/

Really,

Car is not with me at the moment. Your suggestion sounds like it should work .  On another note do you recommend using fuel injector cleaner as an additive to the gas take every so often?

Yes Robert, Fuel injector cleaner works but not that often. It's good when your fuel is close to empty to clean the residues that can clog the fuel line. Hope this shed some light. Is there anything else I can add or help you with Robert?
