What do you mean by you lost your kindle wifi? Did you got disconnected from your wifi and you are trying to connect the kindle back to your wifi? is that correct?

Idon't know what to tell you. All I know is that I don't have wi-fi probably since I purchased a new router about a month or more ago.

And I dont kno what the password for that wi-fi is. Sorry. I formerly had wi-fi.

The new router is a Netgear N600.

Dear Marilyn, It was a pleasure helping you with your Kindle issue today. Here is a summary of the resolution.
Issue identified : cx trying to connect the kindle to the new router
Solution Implemented : called cx and accessed her computer. we found the wifi password at the back of the modem and tested it on her computer. computer was able to connect using the wifi password. kindle wont connect and it stopped at 14 characters only when we enter the password. Originally the wifi password has 17 characters long. we tried to change the router password via the routers admin page but the admin login of the router is not working. the original admin login was  changed. told cx that she can contact amazon and ask for the admin login of the router so that she can changed the wifi password. showed cx on how to change the routers wifi password. or she can send the router back to the seller and request for a new one and request that the new router that she will receive only have password that have 10 characters or less so that her kindle can connect to it. cx understood. no further questions. answer accepted.
