I verified the name of the wi-fi network and password with my provider so all the info is correct.  I get ebooks from Amazon so does that make a difference--should I be doing this with Amazon

Dear Patricia, It was a pleasure helping you with your Kindle issue today. Here is a summary of the resolution.
Issue identified :

Kindle Cannot find wifi Networks

Solution Implemented :

Call customer and Assisted in first checking her computer for the correct Wifi name and Wifi Password

Checked the Kindle and it is not finding any available networks.

Assisted in rebooting the Kindle By holding the power button and Selecting Restart form the Menu

Successfully rebooted the Kindle

Checked the Wifi Settings and it is now successfully detecting her network

Customer said she will be the one to connect it and will continue with the connection

Issue resolved
