Dear Cathy , It was a pleasure helping you with your Kindle issue today. Here is a summary of the resolution.
Issue identified :

iPhone kindle and ipad kindle are not synced

Solution Implemented :

Call customer

Assistaned which Log in ID is most accurate when it comes to her books

Loug out of the iphone Kindle and sign back in using her Account synced with the iPad

Issue resolved

Both device are now Kindle > Amazon synced
