I have a personal page and a business page connected. I am selling my business and the new owner would like the business portion. the problem is there are no admins on my page and only admins can change job roles. I need to get an admin on the page in order to add the new owner as the admin. I think the admins got locked out while we were experimenting with sdding the new owner (we deleted her too soon. Please help if you can.

Hi Margot,

First of all, a business page will not gonna exist if there is no admin on the page. Facebook will not allow that, they will require atleast one admin on the page for the page to be published in facebook. Since your page is still existing in facebook, meaning there is an admin on that page.

May I know who is the one created the business page?

Customer

I created it

alright. If you are the one who created the business page then automatically, you are the admin of the page.

the one who created the business page is the automatic admin by default.

but I am listed as editor

That is impossible, the creator of the page is the 1st admin of the page unless you assigned someone to be an admin of the page and have yourself demoted as editor only.

Do you have a business partner? You might have assigned your business partner as one of the admin of the page.
