I just got a new iPhone 11. I transfered all my information over from my iPhone 7. Everything transferred thru alright except my old Facebook account is active for lack of better words. I cannot seem to delete my old fb account and get on the Fb account that I have been using for years. That being said I’m not sure if I have the right right phone and email for the account I have been using for years. Thank you for listening. I am at my wits end with this. Seems like none of the info I get offline works to delete and pull up the account I’ve been using. Just got this home last week and have been fighting this all week.

Are you using Facebook app on your iPhone? Or are you accessing Facebook through your iphone browser?   

If you are using Facebook app on your iPhone,  please click the three lines on the the lower right.  Scroll all the way down to Log Out.  and log out.   Then choose "login another account" and enter your current facebook information.   That should make Facebook log in your current one and not old account.

Sorry but it's showing my old phone number and I don't remember the password. Is there any way I can change to my new number and email address

Yes. I erased the old phone number. The box below says password and I don't remember the password. Was hoping I could use my new number and a new password. Sorry for being a pain in the ass.

You're not a pain in the ass.  I am talking about the login information.  Just erase the old number and password.  Then you can enter your new facebook phone number/password.   Or are you telling mee you cannot remove the old account information on the login?

When I erased the old number and typed my new one in with my new password under it my old number pops back up and says incorrect password.

I can pull the fb account up under rodney rademacher and get on it but I can't get logged in and can't find a way to log into it. Keeps going back to my old account.

I have researched the information, and could not find a similiar situation.  So, since you purchased a remote support upgrade, Let's go that end to see if I can duplicate the problem on your end.   How skilled are you in downloading an app on your iPhone?

Unreal!!!!!!!! Coworkers are posting on Facebook and and it's my newer Facebook. It has to be my phone for some reason. When anyone gets on my Facebook it goes to the right one.

Dont show the password -- just the login - you should be able to erase and enter your new information.

Hey Scott. I don't know why it wouldn't take my new phone number yesterday but I just tried it again where it said different account when I went to get you a screenshot and it took it. I hit forgot password. It asked which account I wanted. I hit my newer account. It asked if I wanted to get a code by email or sms. I hit sms and changed my password. Believe it or not it went to my newer account. Unreal!!!!!! I still would have never got it if you wouldn't have asked me for a screenshot. Thanks so much Scott! I've been fighting this for over a week. Money well spent. Once again thank you so much! Wouldn't have got it without you.
