My personal account was out of the blue disabled about one month ago. I was totally locked out of my account and couldn't see or perform any actions. I used the Facebook form to submit my ID and received the message: "We'll take another look at your account, however due to the Covid situation we do not have enough people to do so and it might take a while". Nothing happened in the end, I kept getting the same message for over a month and now it's saying that "too much time has passed" and therefore I have no more means to get a review of the account.

I have little facebook activity and did not post or did anything that would violate the community standards by any mean. While trying to get some help using their forms, I did stumble upon the message that my page (named UNIX), was unpublished since it violates child sexual abuse standards. This is, or was, a page set up for my company which had zero posts or info on it. The page was created many years ago and had no activity. Needless to say I did not post anything on it.

On more thing to mention is that a couple of days after my account was disabled I received a text message from my bank confirm a 200$ facebook payment. I called the bank and reported this as fraud and got the money bank. I used this account in the past to pay for some ads on a business page I manage and my credit card was linked to my account.

Since everything seems to show a hacked facebook account, and I cannot get any support from Facebook itself, is there any way I can recover my account?

Thanks,

Calin

Hi Ramy! I'm sorry to reply so late, but I was away for several hours. My time zone is UTC+3, Bucharest, Romania. We could schedule a chat at your convenience, I would just need to know ahead so I can be available. Regarding your questions, I do have access to my e-mail address associated with facebook and to my phone number in order to receive text messages with login codes. As a matter of fact, during all this time, Facebook has messaged me saying that someone might have gained access to my account and asked me to change my password, which I did using the Code Generator - Text message on my phone. I changed my password succesfuly, however the account remained disabled.

I pretty much have everything received from Facebook, including screenshots.

Hi Calin. As you mentioned your account was not used for 1 month thats why your account was disabled. Normally facebook disable account that was not used for more than 1 month. However, you mentioned due to covid and you already submitted an ID for facebook to check if your account is really yours. You can try to submit an appeal again and the link is provided below.

Account Appeal Form

Provide the login email or phone number that was used on your account and also the Fullname that was listed on the account. Then provide any valid ID. There is no actual ETA for this you need to checked your email from time to time for facebook response. This the only way you will regain access to your account again since you already tried resetting your password and still did not work.

Hi Ramy! As you can see in the screenshot attached, they will not register my appeal due to the fact that too much time has passed since my account was disabled. However, like previously stated, I went thru this step before and got the message that "We'll take another look at your account", yet nothing happened. Isn't there any other way to contact Facebook and get an actual person to review all this? Or is it just forever lost and I simply don't have any other options at hand?

Hi Calin. Unfortunately there is no one we can reach for this issue and since you already did the steps I provided and you we can no longer recover your account. The only best thing you need to do is to create a new account. I know how frustrating is this but there are things that is beyond our control. What I can advise you once you created a new account make sure to open the account twice a month to avoid being inactive and being closed by facebook. Hope you appreciate my assistance Calin and wishing you a great day ahead of you.
