Just started all of the sudden ... I went and deleted the backup files that they said was corrupted but still no help. I even upgraded the software on my computer hoping that they have solved the problem but now goes through all the backup process but says cannot backup to this computer.

Thank you for your question. I'll do my best to assist you.

It sounds as if your backup is corrupted and you need to delete as you stated above. Make sure you followed this precise process to delete the backup: iTunes>Preferences(under the edit menu if using Windows)>Devices...your backups are listed here. You can highlight them, then hit the delete button.

If you did follow that process and are still experiencing the issue, you will have to manually delete the backup files while iTunes is NOT running or open. The files can be found here if you are using windows: C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync

Or here if you are using a mac: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup
