When I try to access my emails I get the message ERROR:PSApps. I know that TalkTalk has had a problem with its website but the problem is infuriating. One of the many advantages of the iPad is that there should be no need to boot up my laptop. I think its TalkTalk's fault but can you help, please? Regards from Garry Philp

Hi! Thank you for posting your question. I am glad to help you.

Please go to Mail on your ipad. Tap your email service provider(gmail, yahoo, hotmail, others), logout and delete your talktalk email. Setup your talktalk email from scratch by going to mail, select others, fill in the forms needed to setup the mail. Please make sure to select IMAP instead of POP in the Incoming Mail Server settings.

I hope this helps. Let me know what happens.

To set up your TalkTalk email on your iPad, follow these steps:

Unlock your iPad, and make sure that your Wi-Fi connection is off.
Touch Settings and then Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Touch Add Account under the Accounts heading and then touch Other.
Next, touch Add Mail Account under the Mail section.
Enter your name, TalkTalk email address, password for that email address and a description into their respective boxes.
Touch Save and wait for the process to complete. Then touch Next.
If you receive an SMTP account verification failed message, touch OK.
Touch Save and wait for the verification process to complete.
Touch No to the Cannot Connect Using SSL message.
Touch Save and Save again.
On the Accounts screen, touch your TalkTalk account. Then scroll to Outgoing Mail Server and touch SMTP.
Select the smtp server for your iPad network provider.
Note: If your provider is not in the list you will need to add it. To find out how to do this, contact your iPad network provider.
Touch SMTP and select Primary Server. Then slide Server to OFF and touch SMTP.
Locate your iPad network account and tap it once. Ensure Server is set to ON.
Touch SMTP in the top left-hand corner.
Touch the account name in the top left-hand corner.
Ensure that your iPad network account is set as the Outgoing Mail Server.
