When I look at the trash folder I can see that there are almost 6000 emails. I do not want to delete them individually as it takes for ever. Please advise.

Hi! Thank you for posting your concern. I am here to assist you.

Visit and login to your email client using a computer. Please delete the items on your trash folder on your email. Once you have deleted the items on the trash, delete your email accoung on your Samsung Galaxy S3. Then set it up again. After setting it up again it should sync your emails which are only present to your email client.
