My question is. I have a new Mac and on some sites it blocks my access. Message on screen says Oops: You can not see pages on this site. Because i'ts not on the approved list of parental controls How do I get rid of parental controls completely. Mark

Here's what I have tried so far: Nothing that works. Not a computer person.

Here's my brand/make/model: Mac desk top with Vista software.

Hi Mark 

Please follow the instrcustions below on how to disable the Parental Control  

- Open the System Preferences from the Apple menu and choose “Parental Controls”
- Click the Lock icon and authenticate as usual, this allows for changes to be made to the restrictions
-Select the user account you want to disable Parental Controls for
-Click the gear icon near the bottom of the preference panel and choose “Turn off Parental Controls for your Username
- Exit out of System Preferences
