Here's what I have tried so far: I did unplug the appliance and waited for about minute and plug it back, hoping to reset it.

 Hi Mario Please follow the steps below and let me know if it works

1.Locate "Lighting" and "Freezer" on the left side of the display panel.

2. Simultaneously touch and hold the words "Lighting" and "Freezer" until you hear a distintively different chime sound when the display changes.

Important: Not touching "Lighting" and "Freezer" at exactly the same time and holding long enough will result in a failed attempt to turn demo mode on/off.
