Customer

I have a over heating problem in my 1999 ACURA TL 3.2. I see no evidence of an oil leak and no signs of linkage of oil or antifreeze when I drive around local roads. However,en I drive the car for over 90 minutes and at highway speeds, the car over heats when I get back into local and slow traffic. I have taken it to many mechanics who can't seem to determine what is wrong. Help!!!!

Hi Everton,

May I know when was the last time you cleaned the radiator? Meaning you flushed everything inside and put new water and coolant inside.

Please send me a reply when you are ready by entering your message in the box at the top then hit the send response button to send.

Dear Everton, It was a pleasure helping you with your Acura issue today. Here is a summary of the resolution.
Issue identified : Engine overheating from high speed slowing down to traffic
Solution Implemented : called cx and advised to check if the water is moving inside the radiator. cx said yes. Told cx to check the fan if its engaging whenver the engine is hot. cx said that fan is brand new. Told cx to flush the radiator to make sure that theres no build up gunk on the inside. Advised also cx to tap the fan directly to the igntion system so that it is always turned on and make sure that the engine is always cool. cx agreed and accepted the answer.
