Hi Paul,

If the water supply is normal but the fabric softener will not dispense then it may be clogged. Try cleaning the dispenser

Click and see the the link below. It's a video that should guide you on how to clean the dispenser.

Thank you for being so patient Byron. I removed the dispenser and cleaned it thoroughly as per video. It seemed pretty clean to start with, but I noticed one section of the video, which suggested that some conditioners are quite viscous. My wife assured me that she had always diluted the conditioner before pouring it in to the dispenser.

We dont have conditioner at the moment but I did a test run with clothes washing liquid in the conditioner drawer before doing a rinse and spin cycle. It seemed to work well this time.

It has been some time since we used conditioner, but she said that when she loaded the washing powder and conditioner at the commencement of the wash, and pulled the drawer open at the end, there was still conditioner in the conditioner in the compartment.

I think the time has come to buy some conditioner and go through a full wash. I only hope that the software in the machine hasn't degraded, but certainly there was no liquid left in the conditioner compartment after this rinse and spin cycle.

Hi Paul.

You're welcome. It is very rare that control panel will be the problem  with the situation that you're having it will always boil down to the type of conditioner or clogged dispenser.
