The common fuel gauge problem for this type of vehicle is the level sensor or the fuel sending unit has failed. Sooner or later even your tank is full it will show to the gauge that it is empty. You will have to replace the fuel sending unit to fix this problem. You can just take the vehicle to the dealership and have the part replaced.
