My 2013 Subaru Outback 3.6 limited stumbles, lurches occasionally at highway speeds . I live in Alaska and when we have a dusting of powder snow on the road the car lurches badly when driving at highway speeds. Badly enough to possible loose control. Could this be a loose connection getting wet? Although this has not occurred in rain, only icy roads with loose snow blowing around.

Hi Masneri

How are you doing? May I ask if the tire threads are still thick? Thin tire threads can make the car unstable specially if the road is icy. If the tires are still thick, I strongly suggest that you have the following suspension parts checked:

- ball joints

- tie rod

- tie rod ends

- suspension bushings

If these parts are worn out the car can be unstable/uncontrollable as well. They will need replacedment if found worn out. Hope this helps and please let me know if there's anything else I can add or help you with. I'll be standing by for your response.

Thank you

Relly
