I'm going to have one more go at changing the light cluster and see how it goes. I have the replacement all ready to go but it's raining at the moment and the car is outside. It seems I am not the only person on the street doing the 'car headlight/brake light repair' thing but everyone was asleep and didn't find it til the morning. Thank you.
