My wife's phone was being backup on wifi when it when dead. She tried to recharge it, but it would not take a charge persuming the battery was dead, we had a man install a new battery. It would not come back on because it show to be backing up. He was able to stop this but it lost everything. He said he needed the email address and the password. my wife knows her password but not her email address. what do we do beside buying a new phone?

Solution Implemented :  call customer| forgot apple ID|  customer said her wife doesnt know her apple ID | phone is under Jack's name| tried his apple ID and pw| same problom| tried her wife's pw| same problem| inform customer that the last option is to have the account checked by the apple genius team and see if it willbe recovered or verified| setup call back | provide case | set expectation that if the account will not be recovered| new phone is needed |accepted answer
