OK, here's my issue , I do have a custom ROM and rooted device , I'm just trying to get verification . I've been trying for 3 days ty for the help .

have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app?

Lets check the mouse issue later. Is the whatsapp already installed on the phone? May I know the phone number where you are going to use whatsapp?

can you install the whatsapp on the phone and during the setup, it will ask you to put your country code and phone number then  after you click next you should get a code from whatsapp. Could you try that now.

Somethings is weird on the phone number that you want to enroll to whatsapp. It gives me a notification to wait for 15hours to get for another code.  I tried my phone number and I got the code instantly. 

its the same. It says you have to wait for 15hours for the next code to receive either phone call or text. I guess you really have to wait for it. Make it 24 hours before you re-verify to whatsapp just to make sure. 

Ok.. what is the number? is it plug in to a different phone? 

does the simcard of your other number uses a different phone?

no need to setup whats up.. just use the code to the other phone..

you can use a different phone number to the other phone. In your case enter the  ***-***-**** number then just get the code from  that cellphone and enter it to the first phone where you are setting up whatsapp. that shuld install whatsapp to that phone. 

Dear James, It was a pleasure helping you with your WhatsApp issue today. Here is a summary of the resolution.
Issue identified : cx cant verified  his phone numnber in whatsapp. it says wait for 15 hours
Solution Implemented : called cx and told him that he can use other phone number. We entered his other phone number and get the code from the other cellphone and put the code on the cellphone where that whatsapp is installed. We are successful in verifying whatsapp on the phone. Accessed cx computer and checked themouse issue. tried installing the firmware and the software of the mouse. mouse is detected by the computer but cant mover the cursor. cx said he will troubleshoot the mouse issue on his own. Answer accepted.

Were you able to change the phone number on your whatsapp? I tried to call you but no one is answering the phone. Actually, you dont have to change the number anymore since the phone number is just for verification only for you to install whatsapp. After you installed whatsapp on the phone the one that it will gonna use is the phone contacts not the sim contacts. You can go ahead and just use whatsapp on your phone and dont worry about the phone number.
