that is the only Wifi Switch on this computer which is F8      or    FN+ F8

Is the computer running on Windows 7 8 or 10?

Do you not see the wireless icon on the bottom right icons?

It says wireless connection turned off

It says on trouble shooting to use the switch on the front or side of laptop to turn on wireless capability. I just can't find a switch.

Yes. It lights up for a second and shuts off

Is it possible you can connect a LAN or Ethernet cable to it for temporary internet? that way I can remote in?

Wifi not working

Solution Implemented :

Call customer / Remote Access

Assisted in installing the Toshiba Function Utility downloaded from Dell site

Installed the software and reconnected the computer back to Wifi
