Can you double check further if the noise is coming from the lower half of the transmission because the brakes are also located on that spot.

The extremely loud screeching noise is coming from brakes because it occurs only when applying the brakes.
Have you looked at the drive, and the belt, because when you go to stop, it puts a load on the pulley and clutch, that is were I would look first.It is actually called a centripetal clutch drive. If you can while it's not running check belt tension, according to manual, then take and try to move the clutch around, side to side, and in and out.You should be able to tell were your belt normally rides from marks on clutch see if it is not in the right spot.
Try also changing the tansaxel fluid and see if there will be any difference.

We took your advice and changed the trans axel oil and seems to have fixed the problem. Thank you
