Thank you for your response. Please try the following steps provided below to setup the auto answering option when your away.

  1. While the phone is on standby, open the Menu and then select Ans. Setup.
  2. Then select Security code. Use the number keypad to enter a two digit security code (00-99).
  3. Press MENU/SELECT when your finished.

Please take not of the security code you will be using. Once your done try to call your number and see if the answering maching will work. I will leave this page open and will wait for your response.
