Hi,

Thanks for waiting. May I know what type of controller are you referring to on this question? Is it an Xbox, PS3, PS2, etc.?

I'll be waiting for your response.

It is a Comcast controller (or remote control) that comes with the Comcast Cable Box.

Thanks for the information. The new comcast remote will work with receiver. You will be able to change the channels.

May I know if you want to program the remote so you can control your TV (Volume Controls and Turn ON/OFF)?

That would be ok but more concerned about controlling the My Dvr and changing the channels where now we have to press hard and hold to get the buttons to work.

Thanks for your response and sorry for the delay. Please turn off the DVR and unplug it from the wall outlet for 10-15 seconds to drain the power. Connect the power cable, then turn on the DVR and try to control it using your new remote and let me know if the issue is fixed.

No that did not work.

Let me know what happen.

Put in new batteries and still no reponse. Going to bed now. Beginning to think this "new" remote is no good.
