i changed the water filter saturday and didnt notice that it hasnt been working since then.the whole refride is shut down and the display board wont staY ON A TEMP IT GOES RIGHT TO OF.CAN YOU HELP PLEASE

Here's what I have tried so far:
unplugged for 30 seconds /nothing
we bought filter online that does not have samsung logo we used ecoaqua/EFF-6027A.we believe thats probably when disp-lay went to OF

Here's my brand/make/model:
Samsung,French Door,RF4287HARS-XAA

Reset the filter indicator light by using one of the 3 options below, depending on the model:

Option 1: Press and hold the Alarm button for 3 - 5 seconds.
