This is the third time everything has disappeared from my BlackBerry Hub. Unfortunately this time there was important information that I had not had time to back up. Is there any way the information can be recovered? The information was a combination of text messages, emails, pictures and other graphics from several accounts< not all of which are on my computer. Also how do I find my IMEI?

Hello Johnetta, 

Unfortunately if there's no backup made  and files are also not in the computer there's no way that the files can be retrieved. To answer your next question about the IMEI I need to know the modle of your Blackberry  for me to provide you the details on where to find it.

Please try the steps below. 

  1. From any Home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
  2. Tap Settings > About > Category > Hardware.
  3. View the IMEI.

Is there anything I can do to prevrnt this from happening again?

I recommend always do backup and if there's an update available  for the Blackberry. They usually send updates to fix for existing bugs.
