Ok. you have to enter your 6 digit passcode for you to get through. Do you remember your 6 digit passcode? 

I see. If the fingerprint is not working anymore and you dont remember the passcode, then the only way to make the phone working again is by restoring the phone to the factory state using a computer.

Solution Implemented : called cx and accessed her computer. connect the iphone to her computer and restore it using itunes. iphone restored. helped cx setup the iphone. Iphone is now working. problem solved.
