Hello Lon I'm happy to assist you here.

Does it not detect all available wifi (public and private network)? When was the the last time it connected to wifi? Do you have an ethernet adapter available too?

It worked until last night. It seems to be connecting for about 10 seconds after a restart and loses the signal and doesn't find it. It is a private network. I tried connecting directly by cable to the router but it did nothing.

Issue identified : wifi not working | lan not working  
Solution Implemented: call | reset smc | wthernet working  | configure wifi | connected able to browse | restart machine to test if it will connect agaib | connected automatically | problem solved
