Having a problem with the C cartridge. Used a non Dell product and starting have a wide blue line on the page. Changed back to Dell and still having the problem. Cleaned the jet portals with just a plain cuetip but that didn't work. Don't know what else I can do to get rid of the blue two inch swarth.

Dear Margaret, It was a pleasure helping you with your Dell issue today. Here is a summary of the resolution.
Issue identified :

Line showing on the printout.
Solution Implemented :

Remote Access

Checked the print outs thru the scan featre of the printer

Line showed 2 inches wide vertical on the left side a blueish burn on the paper.

Assisted in cleaning all toners thru the printer menu

Assisted in adjusting color registration and fusion.

Adjusted the Paper thicknes type in settings

All resulted with the same problem.

Advised customer They either need to have the printer repiared or replaced. possible bleeing from the non Dell toner that was installed that caused the problem.

Also Advised customer it will be ideal to just get a new printer since the age of the Dell printer he has may cause more in repair.

Agreed. Customer will get an inkjet
