Hi Jerome,

Thank you for waiting.

The error that you are getting means that the antenna is not properly connected to the unit, reason why it is not getting a signal outside and error message showing on the screen. Double check the antenna wirings and see if theres a disconnec somewhere in the middle. Normally, the antenna wiring runs under the floor mat passenger side.

yes, I did and thank you for responding I just wanted to have some knowledge/idea about what was going on with my car audio when i go to get it repaired on Monday at the Audi dealership.But i also wanted to know after im done can i contact you and let you know exactly what it was and if its working or if they was able to repair it?

Most probably the problem there is the wiring of the antenna. There is a loose or disconnect somewhere.

Yes, the audi service tech says the whole antenna needs to be replaced as if it was hit or damaged by the previous owner and is not covered under dealer used car warranty $1040 but truly appreciate the concern and the holler back peace

Issue identified : cx getting an error antenna problem while installing sirius sat
Solution Implemented : chat with cx and told him that the problem is the connection /wire of the antenna. There could be a disconnec somewhere. cx consulted to the dealership and diagnosed that the antenna is the problem. cx will have the antenna fixed. Answer accepted.
