ok. can you try to charge the device using your computer thru the USB port. You can use the charging cable that came with it and detached the tip of the cable (the one the you plug in to  the wall outlet). Then plug the cable to the usb port of the computer then to your ipad then wait for 2-3 minutes.

Let me know if the ipad will turn on.

Dear Lore, It was a pleasure helping you with your Ipod issue today. Here is a summary of the resolution.
Issue identified : ipod keeps turning off whether the device is charged 100% and while the device is in use
Solution Implemented : called  cx and found out that the problem is the battery that is not holding charge anymore. Told cx that battery needs to be repalced. cx will replace the battery. answer accepted.
