It is also possible that it is the computer that's shutting down.

When the Monitor goes off.

Do you recognize seeing no signal or something like this before the monitor fully turns off?

Posted
Customer

no, just a musical noise

I see,

How often does this happen?

May I suggest, Lets wait for it to happen today.

When it happen, I would suggest restarting the computer and lets check if it will make the LCD to turn back on rightaway.

Shutting doesn the computer when the screen goes off is Holding down the computer's POWER button.

Ok lets wait until the problem re occur today.

Once it did. Try holding down the power button on your computer tower. this will restart the computer and lets see if it will also be able to power back the monitor right away.

this will give us an idea if it is the LCD powering off or it was the computer thats causing this.

is there a number I can reach you at?

I see,

Well the Tv model does not have that feature that can cause the problem you are describing.

Given that this old monitor is working ok, This isolates that your computer is working ok too.

I would say it is a problem with the Monitor itself. Something internal on the monitor.

If this Monitor is new you should still be able to return it for replacement or either a refund. did you bought it from amazon or the like?

Posted
Customer

yes purchased thru amazon
